Rwanda faces an increasing incidence of eye diseases.
Latest data from the Rwanda Health Management Information System (RHMIS) showed that eye diseases are among the top ten causes of morbidity in health facilities. Hence the Foundation’s intervention aimed at establishing Rwanda as a center of excellence in the field of ophthalmology, to be extended to the entire African continent.
