Development mode

Several interventions have been undertaken by the Foundation. Among them:

– 10 million euros donation to “Ente Autonomo Fiera Internazionale di Milano” to support the establishment, equipment, and full operation of a hospital dedicated to the care of COVID-19 patients within the Fieramilanocity complex;

– 1,5 million euros donation to the University of Padua for the creation of a new diagnostic unit aimed at combating the COVID-19 pandemic;

– agreement between the University of Padua, Fondazione Leonardo Del Vecchio, and Luxottica Group to administer diagnostic tests for COVID-19 to Luxottica Group employees in Italy and third parties;

– purchase and donation of 29 pulmonary ventilators for intensive and sub-intensive care to various hospitals and health centres.
